Three
Jewish families were the basis of the congregation in 1898, the
Lou Issac's, the Phil Denitzs and the Adolph Ebestadt's. Adoph
Eberstadt was the first president in 1913 and his wife was the
first teacher of Sunday School. Mr. Sid Braunig was the leader of
the services until 1925 when the 1st rabbi came.
